For several years, my granddaughter and I have been dialoguing with each other by posting quotes on my refrigerator. I have always covered my fridge in quotes that help inspire or guide me. She began adding quotes from her favourite writers or rock stars that challenged or mirrored mine.
It is a great source of fun. We have decided to share this “game” with you. Every week or so we will choose a theme like “courage,” or “determination,” or “fear.” Every day we will post a new quote on the topic of the week.
Eventually, we expect this will be a collaborative effort, not just between my grandchildren and me, but also with those of you who have tuned in to TheRiverLagan.com.
The only rule is that the quotes must be uplifting, inspiring, or humorous. There is enough misery in the world and we are looking for quotes that provide a counterbalance to the despair and cynicism that seems so pervasive now.
